Client: Investment Company, New York.
Skill: SEO, PR, Content Development, Social Media
The client experienced negative media coverage after a regulatory investigation. This resulted in several law firms attempting to create a class-action suit against them and some bloggers covered the situation. This put more negative content in the search engines. As prospective investors tend to look up the name of the company online, this negative content was affecting their operation.
A robust reputation management strategy was put in place using development of positive content. The content was supported by activity in social media. Two blogs were created with content posted regularly each week. An online newsroom was installed to house the educational investment articles. Over an 18-month period the first two pages of the search engines are now almost completely clear of the negative content.
